It's exactly like your parents say; "treat others as you wish to be treated". Disrespect or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated. We don't want any drama here, so don't create it.
Activity: We understand that no one can predict sudden illness and events that will keep you away for an extended period of time, but we don't appreciate those who join and then just disappear from the site altogether. This is especially important if one of your characters is a current tribute! We can't hold up the games and wait for you to post.
Registration: This is also important. Before you make a character, please make an account for your personal, out of character use. Characters will be dying all over the place and we need a way to contact you without PMing deceased accounts! Also use a different account for each character and make sure the display name is your character's name in caps (eg, JOHN DOE).
Rating: We are rated M, so you can expect to see some mature content on here. However, out of respect for other members, please mark sex threads as [M] so we can be prepared. But don't go too far! Anything too graphic is a violation of the Proboards terms of service. We don't want to get in trouble for having anything inappropriate on here. If any of the staff think you've gone too far, you can expect a short pm as a warning. If it continues, further action will be taken.
Characters: We don't have a character limit but please don't bite off more than you can chew! If you want ten characters, that's fine, as long as you can keep them active (active is one thread per two weeks). Also we strongly discourage perfect characters, also known as Mary Sues. Your application will be denied if your character doesn't have any noticable flaws.
Word Count: Word counts are an unecessary hassle, however we don't want to see any one line posts. Just try to match your fellow poster's length and that's good enough for us.
God modding: Being a Hunger Games site, this is going to be an issue. You aren't allowed to control another character. Exeptions can be made if they are little things and you get permission from the other player, but killing other characters without consulting is definitely off the table.
Character Graphics: Profiles look best when the avatars are 150x200px, but you can certainly use other sizes. The board will automatically resize it if it's too big. Your signature is too large if it stretches the board. Also keep the graphics appropriate.
Have Fun: This is perhaps the most important rule of all! We're here to roleplay, and to have fun - that's what it's all about! Get to know your fellow roleplayers, because we're a friendly bunch. It's so awesome to have you here at Tributes of Panem!
