Wren was born to Noah and Joan Nixon in District 4. 4 years later, her sister Wendy was born. Wren always looked over her sister, but Wendy never really considered them close. Wren liked to be alone when they grew up, but would often defend Wendy when they went to school together. Wren didn't like school-- she dropped out at 15 years old. Since then, she has worked making nets for the fishermen. She hasn’t needed to put her name into the reaping, but would do it if her sister needed something. Her father is a fisherman and her mother teaches the kids in district four how to swim, which brings in a decent amount of money.
Wren often sneaks off after work to swim, not coming back to her house until after dark. Her parents never really cared. They never cared about anything Wren did, only that she brought in enough money to fend for herself. Wren always resented her parents, but she eventually learned to life without them and cope.
Wren likes to be alone most of the time, and she never really talks. Most kids in the district think she is strange, but it never really made Wren sad. She felt independent and strong. Nothing could bring her down...
